IT'S ALIVE! TO PUBLISH "FATHER & SON" OMNIBUS BY JEFF NICHOLSON

This FATHER & SON OMNIBUS is now available for pre-order

IT'S ALIVE! is proud to announce the upcoming publication of FATHER & SON OMNIBUS: REALITY SOLDIERS by multiple-Eisner Award nominee Jeff Nicholson.  Nicholson is best known for his work on THROUGH THE HABITRAILS and ULTRA KLUTZ, but his most personal and possibly funniest work fell within the pages of the FATHER & SON comic book series.

Way back in the “ironic” 1990s there was a bit of nostalgia for the 1970s in popular culture. Now here we are in the 2010s and can wax nostalgic (ironically or not) about the 1990s, thanks to this Father & Son Omnibus collection.  So turn off that smart phone and return to those fun-filled “sucky days” of self-righteous baby boomer father vs. grunge-era slacker son, as only the mind of comics veteran Jeff Nicholson could put forward.  This battle of the generations eventually comes to a surreal all-out humor war, involving a few impossible and absurd deaths.  The Omnibus collects all the Kitchen Sink Press, Bad Habit and Colonia Press issues, plus more!

Exclusive Bonus Material:

•11 pages of Interlude and Epilogue stories drawn especially for this collection

•Expanded text and articles about the character’s development over a span of 40 years

•Unpublished sketches, alternate covers and other rarities

•An essay by Stephen R. Bissette written especially for this collection

FATHER & SON OMNIBUS: REALITY SOLDIERS will be available for $24.99 in comic shops and book stores on September 25th 2019, and is now available for pre-order with Diamond Order Code: JUL192022
